Homeschooling and public school extracurriculars?
I am an eleventh grade student who is currently enrolled in a homeschool program. I enjoy it, but the program offers little extracurricular activities. On the other hand, the public high school has quite a few club options, including a GSA, which I am interested in joining. Unfortunately, I live in Maryland, which does not allow homeschool or private school students to participate in public school activities. I realize this is difficult to change, and I won’t make much of a difference, but I would like to try anyway.
Who can I contact about changing Maryland laws focusing on homeschooling, and are there any loopholes to the ruling? Any information about this would be very helpful. Any at all.

At your age I would recommend enrolling in your local community college and taking advantage of the extracurricular activities available there. Even if you could get the law changed in your state, you’d most likely be in college by the time any new law would affect you.
