5.Click on “remote info” on the left hand pane. Under “Access”, choose “FTP”. Under “FTP Host”, type “the ftp host details from your hosting provider”. Leave “host directory “blank, unless you have been given one. Enter the details you were given by your hosting provider under log in or password. Check the “save” box. Check the “Passive FTP” box. Under “check in/out”, check “Enable Check In and Check Out” and “Check out Files when Opening”. Enter your details under “Check out Name” and “Email Address”.
6.Click OK.
7.Your site structure should be viewable now.

i am having problems with dreamweaver mx pop up menus?
i am doing a school project in dreamweaver and i am having a problem with my navigation system. I made 6 buttons, all of which have a pop-up menu behavior attached. the problem is when i navigate from one page to another, all the links fail. When i click them it says could not find for example “/latin/History/courses/latin2.htm.” when the link should actually be latin/courses/latin2. what is causing this problem? is it the folders? or is it the pop up menus? PLEASE HELP!
You are using a relative link. So if your link does not begin with a “/” it appends it to the current directory you are in. eg. if you are in History and your link is “latin/latin.htm” it becomes ‘History/latin/latin.htm”. So to fix this, start with a “/” and work your way up from the root (main) directory to the path you want to link to.
