iframe/css compatibility problem…?
I am really new to CSS. I’ve been using some of the presets in Dreamweaver CS3, and it’s been good so far. However, when I try to insert an iframe into the main section, it causes lay-out problems. Specifically, the main section and my footer kind of disappears.
I need to use iframe because I’m targeting a stripped-down blogspot page. I’m doing a page for a friend who doesn’t know how to work HTML. He wants a website he can update, but doesn’t want to use the usual templates. I was able to target a blogspot account to appear on his homepage, but now the mere presence of an iframe is ruining the css. Is there any way around this?
I work with iframes a lot (corporate intranet website), and found a trick that worked for me… on IE, anyway.
Place the iframe inside a DIV, and set it to 99% width, 99% height, margin: auto.
Style and position the DIV.
