Do i REALLY need a Tablet?
Well I’m new at the whole Photoshop digital painting thing and i already painted about…5-6 pictures and I started two More pics a few days ago, so…i do NOT have a tablet i use a mouse and i admit it is difficult Sometimes when i paint hair or fur, but do i HAVE to HAVE a tablet so i can be a decent photoshop artist? it’s really difficult for me because here a tablet costs A LOT of money and i don’t have that yet, and I’m sure my father wouldn’t be too happy if i bought one just yet…he did throw a party last time when i got my Ipod touch and he didnt talk to me for some time…so i don’t want any family problems and at the same time i want to be a good photoshop artist, Help? Tips? Tutorials?

Do you NEED one? No. You could manage with a mouse, though it is much more difficult. Tablets are no essentials to digital art, but they are a huge plus. If you dont see yourself ever wanting to sell your paintings, dont bother with a tablet (unless you decide the money is worth it). But if you think youre going to look into digital art as a career, I highly recommend a tablet. They improve your work and cut down project time. If youre looking to get one anyway, you can purchase a cheap one, such as the Wacom Bamboo from amazon for $70-$80. This is one of the cheapest ones that is still decent
